The thread of the week · 4 saves
It started Tuesday with a podcast clip texted in from the train, resurfaced Wednesday as a screenshot of someone’s resignation letter, and closed the week as a 34-page PDF from a Portuguese pilot study. Read together, the saves disagree in an interesting way: the podcast argues it is about output, the study says it is about attrition.
The letter, the one saved without comment, sits somewhere in between. This is the third week this quarter the subject has appeared. The thread now runs eleven saves deep and the earliest is dated April 9. Ask the archive what you actually think, and it will show you, with citations.
“Nobody quits over Fridays. They quit over
being interrupted on Tuesdays.”

The screenshot shared Thursday with no caption: the Salginatobel Bridge, 1930, Robert Maillart. Filed next to March's saves on concrete.
From a voice note
Done. It is Faicco's, on the corner walked past Friday. Closed Mondays, which is either an omen or a scheduling note.

The video there was no time to watch: transcribed, then summarised in nine sentences. The good part starts at 26:40.
